I’ve always been a person who finds joy in symbolism. I’m the person who saves every movie stub, and things from my childhood, just to find them later and remember how wonderful those times were. So it just makes sense that the shirt I designed for fundraising and awareness has few words.

Every part of the shirt means something to me and my hope is that it will mean something to you as well. I enjoy sharing the beauty of my experiences with other people and this shirt is a way to do that. This shirt is a way to bridge the gap from symbols to memories.

The destinations around the circle are all of the countries we are scheduled to go to and share the gospel. The places we will call home for a month. The places where we will grow our faith as we are loving people through Christ. The 11n11 represents the number of months and number of countries. Lastly the arrow made into a circle embodies the continuing mission  that we as followers of Christ are called to. Sharing the gospel, being a missionary doesn’t start when we leave nor does it stop when we get home. Our location shouldn’t determine whether we share Christ with people or not.

Shirts are $20 a piece, sizes 2XL and up are $22. If you are interested just reach out to me on my blog or facebook (Elizabeth Anderson).  Soft shirts are a tad less generous of a fit than a normal t-shirt… they’re a nicer, softer t-shirt… but if you (or your customers) are between two sizes I would definitely suggest choosing the larger!
